Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. NIV
Paul tells us to "carry all our concerns to God" as my own pastor put it. When you phrase it that way you realize that God is not just waiting to hear our earth shattering prayer requests but he wants us to bring everything to him, even the small things.
God often answers small prayers for me and I find it so faith affirming. Who knew that asking God to lock a sticky door lock and having him do it would be affirming ? When God answers my smallest requests, over and over again, I know he's always right beside me !
